We've marched, we've rallied, we've written, we've worked. As good as it feels to flex our civic-muscles, the truth is, becoming more socially and politically engaged can burn a babe out. This is especially true for those, like women of color and trans babes, for whom simply existing in the world is a daily struggle. When you add in the craziness of everyday life and a non-stop social media feed, there's no question radical self-care should be at the top of all of our to-do list. 

Give yourself permission to pause and let Babe Council + One Breath Studio help you channel your chill. No politics. No Stress. 

In this 90-minute mindfulness experience you will be guided through a 45-minute soul reviving meditation led by Sheila Shervey, meditation teacher, holistic psychotherapist, and founder of One Breath. Followed by a 30 minute Self-Care Club Workshop, where you'll channel that inner calmness and mental clarity into some good deeds for YOU. 

This experience includes:  45-minute guided meditation, Reserved seating, “Breathe, Babe” Merit Button, and a Self-Care Club kit to help you bring the experience home, literally and figuratively.

All levels welcomed, no experience required. Whether you’re a first-timer curious about meditation, or a seasoned meditator wanting to grow your practice - no matter your previous experience - you’re welcomed to join us! Most people find mediating in a supported group and with an experienced teacher to be so much easier than doing it at home. Come experience the awesome benefits with us.  

Sheila is the founder of One Breath Studio and a licensed psychotherapist and meditation teacher. Babe Council educates and empowers women to be more civic and community-minded through social activism and altruism.
