February Book Club

This is a monthly therapeutic book club where you will engage in self discovery and awakening through reading. Bibliotherapy (aka book therapy) is the process of reading as a way of healing, processing and getting to know yourself through books. The group will be lead by Sheila, a licensed therapist and meditation teacher. There will be time for self reflection, writing and sharing in a safe group environment.

The book for February will be Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed.

Join One Breath Healing and Babe Council for a morning of connection, creativity and reclaiming our feminine energy. This experience includes a variety of ways to explore what that means to you: tarot card readings, an aromatherapy & Reiki session and the opportunity to create your own Himalayan Salt Soak; postcard and letter writing on issues affecting our lives and community, and even a voter awareness activity to help us use our voice in support our community and women ahead of voting day, Tuesday, November 6th.

Mindful Fertility at ilumina Healing Sanctuary

The Mindful Fertility Group was created to help you navigate the waves that come as you move through the process of trying to conceive. We will explore how the attitudes of mindfulness like trust, acceptance, patience, compassion can guide you in finding ease, comfort and peace.

Within the support of the group we will practice cultivating mindfulness through meditation and other experiential mindfulness practices. There will be time to share and process what is arising for you and we will explore ways you can work compassionately and skillfully with your experience.

The group will be led by Sheila Shervey, licensed Psychotherapist and meditation teacher. Prior to joining the group you must call to make sure the group is right for you. At that time I can answer any questions you may have.

$180 for 6 weeks
*At the end of 6 weeks you can recommit to the group at which time you would pay $180 for another 6 weeks. You will benefit the most from committing to the group for 3-6 months. You can stay in the group for as long as you like.

We've marched, we've rallied, we've written, we've worked. As good as it feels to flex our civic-muscles, the truth is, becoming more socially and politically engaged can burn a babe out. This is especially true for those, like women of color and trans babes, for whom simply existing in the world is a daily struggle. When you add in the craziness of everyday life and a non-stop social media feed, there's no question radical self-care should be at the top of all of our to-do list. 

Give yourself permission to pause and let Babe Council + One Breath Studio help you channel your chill. No politics. No Stress. 

In this 90-minute mindfulness experience you will be guided through a 45-minute soul reviving meditation led by Sheila Shervey, meditation teacher, holistic psychotherapist, and founder of One Breath. Followed by a 30 minute Self-Care Club Workshop, where you'll channel that inner calmness and mental clarity into some good deeds for YOU. 

This experience includes:  45-minute guided meditation, Reserved seating, “Breathe, Babe” Merit Button, and a Self-Care Club kit to help you bring the experience home, literally and figuratively.

All levels welcomed, no experience required. Whether you’re a first-timer curious about meditation, or a seasoned meditator wanting to grow your practice - no matter your previous experience - you’re welcomed to join us!
